RESONUT was established in Burkina Faso in December 2014. Its main purpose is to promote consultation and coordination of the actions of civil society engaged to influence policy makers in favour of improving the nutritional status of populations in Burkina Faso. To this end, its members are civil society actors working at national or sub-national level in the field of nutrition and related sectors (agriculture, water-sanitation-hygiene, education, human rights, environment, social protection.)
