The upcoming Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit 2025 in Paris presents a pivotal moment for SUN Civil Society Network (SUN CSN) members to shape the global nutrition agenda. Governments, donors, and stakeholders will convene to make commitments that could transform the fight against malnutrition. To help civil society alliances (CSAs) maximize this opportunity, the SUN CSN Secretariat has developed an N4G Advocacy Toolkit.
Available in English, French, and Spanish, the toolkit provides practical guidance, templates, and tailored actions to empower CSAs to advocate for ambitious, transparent, and measurable commitments that prioritize vulnerable populations. From grassroots dialogues to high-level advocacy campaigns, the toolkit equips SUN CSN members to deliver lasting impact.
This toolkit is designed with flexibility to meet the unique contexts and capacities of CSAs. It offers a range of actions categorized into:
- Foundational actions: For CSAs looking to establish initial advocacy efforts.
- Targeted actions: For CSAs with specific goals and identified priorities.
- High-impact actions: For CSAs seeking to deliver transformative, large-scale advocacy outcomes.
The toolkit follows a four-step process to guide CSAs in:
- Mobilizing nutrition stakeholders
- Taking stock of past commitments and shaping new commitments
- Reaching out to key decision-makers
- Raising the visibility of the N4G Summit
